We will make a research buddy that will help us in our research... We are preparing to write a book report!


We will formulate questions about a text before and during our reading for research!



Weather Mobile


We will be talking about weather and how it has changed since the beginning of the school year. We will do many fun activities, graphs and research on weather!


Math- Temperature and Duration activities


For Duration, we will do various activities with the book Tortoise and the Hare!


Math- counting raindrops to match the umbrella to 30! Also, a fun Alphabet Mystery Box game!


Practice spelling number words to 10.

This will be my last blogging week for the school year! We have finished most of the CSCOPE lessons....so we will use the rest of the year for review, assessment, field trips, field day and many more fun and exciting activities!

Review #'s 11-20 by counting the apples in the tree

Review- Matching capital and lowercase leaves


There are a variety (acorns,apples, leaves, limbs, bark etc..) of objects that come from a tree... We are going to figure out what part of the tree the item came from!!


Continuing expository texts and drafts


Sight word review...Fill the tree game


This will be our last week on studying trees! We will discuss items that come off of a tree and how trees change in Seasons!

Math- Weight/Mass- We will compare two objects according to weight/mass...also, we will use comparative language like heavier than, lighter than and equal to Science- We will be learning about animals that live in trees... we will be building our own bird nest out of stick pretzels and peeps!
Social Studies- The Problem Solving Process- Using the story The Three Bears... The children will find a new ending to the story using the problem solving process we have learned!
Science- How We Can Classify Animals that live in a tree!!
EL AR- this week we will continue to gather information on trees or animals that live in a tree for our expository text
